If not now, when?

We are always trying to spread the magic of boudoir to women of all shapes, ages and sizes. For this week’s Fierce Friday feature we have a little help from one of our new favourite clients who can’t say enough about her experience! She is an inspiration to every woman who’s considering coming to our studio for a comfort-zone-smashing boudoir photo shoot! We are happy to introduce you to the wonderful Miss D! Here’s what she’d like to share about her boudoir session before Christmas, and some of her beautiful album images…

What Miss D had to say:

“Recently I lost 50 lbs., so when my husband asked for boudoir photos for Christmas my first response was a resounding “No”. Initially, the thought of doing something of this nature terrified me and I didn’t have the faintest idea where to start… I’m a busy Nail Tech, with my salon based on the North Shore. Needless to say, I have dozens of clients and we all chat and share information. Before I knew it, I was given Lux’s name, an appoint was arranged and off to the races I went! As I’m just shy of 60, I figured, ‘If not now, WHEN?!’

“I was not going to be one of those women who regretted all the things I didn’t do!

Also, as I had put my husband off the idea of getting something of this nature for Christmas, I knew he’d be totally surprised. When I arrived at the studio I was taken by how beautiful and comfortable it was. Kari instantly put me at ease and in minutes I was seated for hair and make-up. Kari and I went through an array of articles I brought.

I had everything from the sublime to the ridiculous, and a few items where I thought outside the box and brought along for Kari’s opinion. We narrowed the apparel down and then it was time to start the shoot. I must tell you, to do a shoot of this nature was really fun and liberating. I went in with an initial shy attitude, but finished with a BRING IT ON finale. I would highly recommend this experience to any woman – whether you’re younger, or a little longer in the tooth such as myself. You feel beautiful, sexy and free! Thank-you, Kari! It was wonderful!!!”
