Deb, from TANCOUVER, recently visited us here at Lux Boudoir Photography in Vancouver. Our studio has ten years of experience taking professional boudoir photographs. At Lux, we have photographed over 2000 beautiful and amazing women. We love to empower women with boudoir photography and this is our mission. .

1. Embrace your body
Be ready to own it. Channel your inner Cardi B, Beyonce, Gaga, whomever your Queen of choice is! (Mines Cardi)
2. Feel the confidence boost.
You will feel from having small things such as a spray tan for the boudoir shoot. I honestly cannot stress the confidence you feel from a glowing spray tan. The slightest pop of colour will help your photo’s come together.
3. Don’t be scared
Don’t let your own apprehension and reluctance keep you from feeling beautiful and worthy of a professional boudoir photography shoot. I was feeling this way prior to my shoot (albeit slightly reluctant), but I decided to go for it as I am all about embracing beauty and confidence in all shapes and sizes.
4. Choose a professional studio:
As soon as the day came I was so excited and ready, I couldn’t have done my first shoot anywhere else! The Lux Boudoir Photography women made me feel like a queen the minute I came in. They involved me in the process every step of the way including asking what make up I liked to wear, how I like to wear my bouncy curls, and even what music of choice I would like to hear while being photographed! It felt so great to be in such professional and caring hands. This really made me feel so comfortable.
5. Let your photographer coach you.
Listen and allow your Lux Boudoir Photographer to coach you during the photo session. When you think about being in front of a camera in your Lingerie for the first time ever, you can start to feel nervous. But the Lux women were so helpful. They guided me during the photoshoot with what to expect while shooting, the studio space was so inviting, bright, and secure, and they suggested proper poses to use during the shoot so I never had to worry about it. This made the shoot so much fun and so easy on me.
I am so happy with my Lux Boudoir Photography session and the amazing photos I have. I will have these photos forever to look back on and cherish. It made me feel so empowered to shoot with Lux Boudoir Photography and I think every woman should do a boudoir shoot in their life, it’s so much fun.
