We have the privilege of photographing many gorgeous brides-to-be who want to give a special sexy gift to their future husbands on their wedding day. Every single one of them has said to us that while they purchased the boudoir session as a gift for their husband, it really turned out to be a gift for themselves. This is exactly what Ms. M said to us after her bridal boudoir photoshoot.
What did doing this photoshoot do for your confidence and sense of self worth?
Ms. M: I think i forgot what a power house i can be as a woman, being able to see myself in the mirror and remind myself of who I am was beautiful. I just kept staring and going, omg! This is ME!
Lux: So glad you were able to have that experience of seeing yourself as the beautiful and incredibly powerful woman that you are. That’s the realization we hope every one of our clients has.
What was your favourite part of the session?
Ms.M: The raw Feminine energy!! I loved being around all the women, lifting me up!!
Lux: Women supporting women is a truly powerful experience. There’s nothing quite like being hyped up be other women.
What was the best part of the experience for you?
Ms.M: I greatly enjoyed being pampered, i made it a day for myself. Really, just relaxed and enjoyed my time.
Lux: Yeah, we women definitely don’t indulge in pampering enough. We are so accustomed to taking care of others – be that children, partners, family or friends – we often find ourselves last on the list. It’s important to schedule some “me time” where you get to be pampered.
What advice do you have for other women thinking of doing a boudoir photoshoot?
Do it! It is so worth it in the long run! You get to be in the beautifully bright studio and truly see yourself in a new light!
