Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Lux compare to your prior experience?

I have and this was above and beyond more luxurious than I had previously experienced. The instructions for posing were so helpful and empowering!!!

Why did you chose Lux to do a boudoir shoot with?

I looked at the pictures and liked the style so I reached out and received a response after hours within 30 mins so I felt like my request was important right from the start!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

I am now divorced and wanted to have pictures that reflect this new stage in life. I went in with a what do I have to lose attitude and just let yourself enjoy the process and I really did. I left feeling so amazing!!!

What was your favourite part of the session?

The whole thing from start to finish was amazing. Big shout out to Nicole my hair and makeup artist who came in, worked her magic and left so quickly I didn’t have time to thank!!!

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth and self image? Tell me your story.

This was a total confidence booster. I have had a very negative view of my body my whole life and it is something that I am working on changing. Seeing myself captured in such a beautiful way really countered the negative narrative I had in my head. Very empowering!!!

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

It was everything I was expecting and more! Loved the robe, which was a total surprise!

What was your biggest fear before or during your boudoir shoot?

My fears were all ahead of time and were that I wouldn’t be happy with how I looked but that was not the case at all.

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

I wouldn’t change a thing. You have an amazing business that celebrates people where they are at!

Who did your hair and makeup? What were your thoughts on the artist?

Nicole did my hair and makeup and my only regret is that I was not able to properly thank her. I would love to have her contact information so that I could use her again! Plus she was hilarious and so engaging. I loved the experience.
