We asked a few questions to one of our amazing Lux clients, Mrs. S., about how was her experience in our studio and the reason to have decided to do a boudoir photoshoot. In this post, we will be sharing valuable insights about doing a boudoir photoshoot to celebrate YOU!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

Kari made me feel extremely comfortable which let me let go and just enjoy the experience

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth and self image? Tell me your story.

I have always hated pictures. I am super critical of everything in them. The images Kari captured are amazing and made me feel like maybe, just maybe, I have been a little harder on myself than necessary. They make me feel beautiful, sexy and vivacious.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I wasn’t sure what to expect at all was worried about making weird facial expressions. Overall, Kari’s direction made me feel at ease and allowed me to just be myself and natural in how I moved my body and face.

Describe the outfits you brought! Where did you buy them?

All but one of the outfits I ended up wearing were from la vie entorse and I love them all. Trying to find reasons to wear them regularly! I wore a red two piece that was more covering and great to test the waters at my shoot. My second outfit was a super inexpensive bodysuit piece from Amazon that I adore and have been lounging in because it makes me feel super sexy. My third outfit was a sheer, white bodysuit with pushup bra that was great for showing my back tattoos. Lastly, my black corset bra and panty set is one that I have been wearing with some regularity and makes me feel super fierce.

What advice do you have for others getting their boudoir pictures taken?

Just relax and let go of all the self sabotage that we all feel! We all have inherent beauty and power that needs to be displayed.
